Apportionments
Part of our responsibility and connection as a United Methodist congregation is lived through our apportionment giving. Together we are able to support the ministries and missions of the larger church through giving beyond our own congregation and local community.
Apportionment dollars go to funding campus ministry programs at colleges and universities in our area, they help the fight to eradicate malaria in Northern Africa, they support the livelihood of retired United Methodist clergy, they enable ministries within the Baltimore-Washington Conference and so much more.
At Woodside we are committed to growing in our apportionment giving annually and belief our faithfulness to the larger church is essential to our own ministry and mission in Silver Spring.
