Men's Breakfast Group

Several Woodside men have formed a breakfast group that meets once a month at the Tastee Dinner in downtown Silver Spring (8601 Cameron Street). The group meets on the First Thursday of each month at 6:30 AM. Tastee Mondays

Second Monday of Each Month, at 8:00 p.m. Join Rev. Rachel & Rev. Kirkland for an evening of conversation about faith and life at the Tastee Diner in downtown Silver Spring. Everyone is welcome. No preparation necessary-come as you are!

Woodside Young Adults

Will meet for brunch every second Sunday of each month, after the worship service. All Young Adults and families with young children and people who feel like a young adult are invited to participate. For questions, contact Susan Wentzy at susan.wentzy@yahoo.com.

Choirs

Love to sing your PRAISES? The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm and sings on most Sundays.

Voices of Praise, our contemporary gospel choir, rehearses twice a month at 7:00 pm on the second and third Thursdays of the month. Contact Mary Ann Willow or Monroe Weeks, empee11@netzero.net, for more information.

Arleeta’s Pantry

Arleeta’s Pantry is a missional offering from the Woodside congregation that can provide two days worth of non-perishable food for individuals and families in need one time per month. In-kind and financial contributions by congregants help keep Arleeta’s Pantry stocked and congregants also volunteer to distribute food every Saturday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
