So far, we've raised $1,807!
We're only $700 away from our goal!

Our kids, alone, raised $172 during VBS. Then on June 27 folks at Marvin gave $235 and folks at Woodside gave $1,400. That means we are only $700 short of our goal. Every dollar we raise will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, from Woodside's Wingrin Fund, which will enable us to donate $5000 total toward the project. Our Cooperative Parish is the largest financial supporter of the program (even though we aren't the largest church), in terms of congregation size, that's participating in the project. That's awesome!!

We still need volunteers, for our next two Saturday build dates! Come join us! On August 7 and September 11.

What is KIDS WITH PUPROSE?

KWP is a mid-week, service oriented children’s mission program. The goal is for children to learn about and share God’s love through actively serving people in our community. The KWP program helps children grow in their faith and grace to become active disciples through their service to others. This program is a powerful way to directly involve children in learning and living out our biblical mandate to love and serve our neighbors. The KWP program aims to instill a sense of Christian service and responsibility to our children through a series of sustained local missions that help the elderly, ill, needy and forgotten.

KWP Mission:

To make missions and service to others an everyday and lifelong activity for children.

At KWP we will:

• Bring faith to life through simple acts of service in God’s name.
• Define mission not as something we do, but as who we become.
• Develop children’s awareness that there are people and children in need.
• Develop children’s awareness that those in need may look “just like me.”
• Build and strengthen community through the children’s service to others.

We’re inviting all children to be a part of the excitement at our Vacation Bible School,
GALACTIC BLAST: A COSMIC ADVENTURE PRAISING GOD!

At GALACTIC BLAST, your children will become cadets on the starship Galactic Praise as we learn more about our wonderful, incredible, amazing, magnificent, awesome God.

After a high-energy opening on the starship Galactic Praise, the cadets spacewalk to the Good News Galaxy. Through the Bible stories there, children will witness how our mighty God is at work in the world. Cadets will learn Praise Phrases and Bible Booster memory verses that will boost their faith long after VBS.

The children will expand on what they’ve learned by participating in a variety of activities: making their own art projects at Cosmic Crafts, singing new music at Moons & Tunes, exploring science activities at the Orbital Observatory, participating in recreational activities at Rocket Rec, and enjoying tasty snacks at the Astro Bistro.
